Unplugged Activities

Studentes will learn basic computer science concepts and how to solve a problem from unplugged activities.

Unplugged activies are designed to be conducted without using computers, so many of them use just a pencil, paper or cards.

Examples of unplugged activities are sending message by blinking flashlight or finding and replacing repetition in a cup stack.

We give students little coding tasks after each unplugged activity to apply concept to coding.

Coding

We offer two different types of programming languages for our coding class to keep it fun and easy to learn.

Visual Coding
Visual coding is a good choice for students who are new to coding or struggle with text based coding. You can write a program by just dragging and dropping blocks of codes and connecting them logically.

Text Based Coding
Most of programming languages are text based. They are written in certain rules called syntaxes. Codes tell the computer what to do and what to show.

Hardware

Arduino is a microcontroller that allows us to realise our imagination. Potentiometers, LEDs, photoresistors and many other electrical parts are used to Arduino projects.

We have conducted touch-free opening rubbish bin, Bluetooth control LED Christmas tree decoration and Bluetooth control smart car lessons with our students.

We encourage our students to come up with their own projects so they can work on it with classmates.
